Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. Agenda Duo has no sign-up and no login. We (Wanderventure Studios LLC) do not receive, store, sell, rent or share your name, email address, calendar events, contacts, location, photos or recordings. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no third-party tracking software in the app.
What the app uses on your device, and why
Each of these is asked for only when you first use the feature that needs it, and you can say no and still use the rest of the app.
- Calendars: to show your events in Work and Life columns and widgets, and to add events you create in Agenda Duo. Events you add are saved to your own calendars (iCloud, Google, Outlook or another account on your iPhone), which sync with that account's provider as usual.
- Reminders: to show your to-dos and add new ones to your Reminders lists.
- Contacts (optional): only to read birth years, so a birthday can show the age someone is turning.
- Photos: only the pictures and screenshots you choose, to read event details, a list or a page of a paper calendar for Brain Dump from them, to show on the Photo Calendar and Countdown widgets, or as you pick. Text is read on your iPhone using Apple's built-in text recognition. Agenda Duo cannot see the rest of your library.
- Camera (optional): only when you tap Scan a List in Brain Dump, to read a list or flyer. The picture is read on your iPhone and isn't kept or sent anywhere.
- Microphone and speech recognition (optional): to hear what you say in Brain Dump and Ask My Calendar, and to record meeting notes, and turn them into text. Speech is recognised on your device when your iPhone supports it; otherwise the audio is sent to Apple's speech recognition service to be written out. Summaries and action items are written by Apple Intelligence on your device. Recordings and transcripts are kept in the app on your iPhone until you delete them. Brain Dump sorts what you say or type into to-dos and events with Apple Intelligence on your iPhone when it has it, or with the app's own rules; nothing you say is sent to us.
- Location (optional): for the weather on your days and for Leave-Now Alerts. See "Apple services" below.
- Notifications: morning and evening summaries, appointment reminders, check-ins after appointments and leave-now alerts are scheduled on your iPhone.
Apple services
A few features use Apple's own services. Apple handles that information under the Apple Privacy Policy; it does not come to us.
- Weather comes from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). Your approximate location is sent to Apple to get the forecast.
- Leave-Now Alerts ask Apple Maps for the driving time from your location to an event's address (the event's location text is sent to Apple Maps to find it).
- Speech recognition, when your iPhone can't do it on the device, is done by Apple's speech recognition service.
- Agenda Duo Plus is a one-time in-app purchase handled by the App Store. We do not receive your payment details; the app only checks with the App Store whether Plus has been bought on your Apple Account or shared with you through Family Sharing.
- Apple Watch: your iPhone sends your Work and Life choices, the names of any To Do lists you've hidden, and whether Plus is unlocked to your own Apple Watch. The Watch reads your calendars directly from your iPhone's synced data.
Data stored on your device
Agenda Duo saves the following on your iPhone and Apple Watch only (and in your device backups, if you use them): your settings, themes and colours, scribble drawings, meeting notes and recordings, photos you add to widgets, family members' names and colours, and a small diagnostics file about the app's own calendar settings, which stays on your iPhone and is never sent anywhere.
Children
Agenda Duo is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, none is gathered about children either. If you have a question about this, contact us below.
Your choices
- You can turn calendar, reminders, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, speech recognition, location and notification access on or off at any time in the iPhone Settings app → Privacy & Security.
- You can delete any note, recording, drawing or photo inside the app.
- Deleting Agenda Duo removes everything it stored. Your calendars and reminders themselves stay in your accounts.
We hold no central database of users, so there is no personal data on our side to provide, correct or delete. Your data is on your devices, under your control.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add features. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected in an app update.
